Registered Acupuncturist
I’m Brenda; a registered acupuncturist, Qigong teacher-in-training and certified forest therapy guide. I support people in restoring balance and reconnecting with their body’s natural capacity to heal.
My areas of focus include nervous system regulation, hormonal balance, menopause support, and stress-related conditions, including chronic pain, digestive issues, autoimmune concerns, and psycho-emotional imbalances.
My own healing journey deeply informs my practice, allowing me to bring empathy, authenticity, and grounded presence into every treatment. Drawn to acupuncture for many years, I eventually left a long-standing career to follow this calling. For me, acupuncture is more than a profession; it’s the work I was always meant to do.
Outside the clinic, I find nourishment in nature, tending my garden, practicing qigong, and enjoying the stillness of yin yoga and meditation.
What is Acupuncture and What Does it Do?
Acupuncture is a simple, hands-on practice that helps your body come back into balance. It works by placing very thin needles into specific points along the body’s energy pathways. These points help shift things that are stuck, for example; tension, stress, pain, or patterns that have built up over time.
Some people come in with physical symptoms (pain, fatigue, digestive issues), while others may come in feeling anxious, burnt out, or just off. Acupuncture helps the body settle and begin to heal.
During a session, you'll lie down and rest. The needles usually feel like a small tap and are generally not painful. Most people feel deeply relaxed. Some sleep. Some feel a shift right away; others notice things change slowly over a few sessions.

My Offerings

Your first visit is a 75-minute session designed to understand your full health picture. We’ll take time to review your health history, current concerns, lifestyle factors, and goals, followed by a Traditional Chinese Medicine assessment to evaluate the balance of your system. Your appointment includes an acupuncture treatment tailored to your specific needs, laying the foundation for an effective and supportive treatment plan.

This treatment is designed for returning patients who have already completed a 75-minute initial intake. Each session begins with a brief check-in to review changes in symptoms, stress levels, sleep, digestion, pain, and overall wellbeing. Treatments are then refined based on your current needs and progress. Your acupuncture treatment is fully personalized each visit, supporting ongoing balance, symptom relief, and long-term health goals.

This shorter session is designed for established clients who want gentle support between regular treatments. It helps maintain progress, ease mild flare-ups, and support nervous system regulation during busy or transitional periods. Sessions may include auricular acupuncture, cupping or simple, targeted body points based on your current needs. This option is for existing clients only and is not intended for new concerns or significant changes.

If you’re curious about acupuncture, this 15 minute, no-obligation consultation offers a relaxed space to connect, ask questions, and explore whether acupuncture feels like the right next step for you. We’ll talk about what’s been going on for you, how acupuncture works, and how treatment may support your overall wellbeing. It’s a simple, supportive way to get clarity before booking a full appointment.

Qigong is a simple movement practice that helps your body and nervous system settle. I’ll guide you through gentle, flowing movements that support your energy, build vitality, and help you feel more connected to yourself. It’s a bit like acupuncture without the needles; a way to shift things from the inside out. I’ll be offering group sessions starting in 2026. Stay tuned.
